Collective building for advocacy

We want to be a platform that allows organizations of persons with disabilities and their support networks affected by crises to exchange experiences, network, and advocate, in order to strengthen their real participation as a social movement.

Promote abilities

We know that participation and advocacy require specific tools. FUNNERU supports processes for individual, collective, and organizational strengthening.

Economic agency

FUNNERU contributes to improving the material living conditions of persons with disabilities survivors of crises and their closest support networks through small grants.

Intermovement collaboration

FUNNERU values the opportunity to learn from and contribute to the agendas of other social movements in order to address the shrinking space for civil society. We aim to ensure that the rights and needs of people with disabilities are reflected in the agendas of other collectives. Our priorities include fostering collaboration with the women’s/feminist movement, as well as engaging in climate justice and humanitarian efforts.
